Banjara Hills Tree Waste Blocks 40 Percent of Road Near Cancer Hospital

Green waste left uncleared after tree-trimming work by TGSPDCL is causing significant traffic disruption on Road No. 10 in Banjara Hills, behind Indo-American Cancer Hospital, inconveniencing patients, nearby residents and motorists alike.
TGSPDCL crews trimmed branches from several trees along the hospital stretch towards Zahira Nagar last Saturday in preparation for Ganesh idol transportation and immersion. However, the cut branches were not removed and continue to lie on the road, occupying close to 40 percent of the carriageway.
The piled-up debris has particularly affected vehicles taking the free left from KBR Park towards Road No. 10, with traffic slowing considerably near the cancer hospital gate during evening peak hours.
Patients visiting Indo-American Cancer Hospital say the congestion has made it difficult to walk along the stretch, and several have expressed concern for their safety while navigating the blocked pavement and slowed traffic. Residents and regular motorists on the stretch have also been caught up in the resulting slowdowns.
