Hyderabad: Congress MP Mallu Ravi has dismissed the BJP's claim that it will come to power in Telangana, calling the party's political ambitions unrealistic.
Responding to recent statements made by BJP leaders, Ravi said the people of Telangana are supporting the Congress government led by Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy. He added that the state government is working to fulfil its promises through welfare programmes and development initiatives.
The Congress leader said the BJP does not have the political strength needed to form the next government in Telangana. According to him, the party's claims are not in line with the current political situation in the state.
Mallu Ravi also said the Congress government remains committed to public welfare and is focused on delivering better governance. He expressed confidence that people would continue to support the Congress based on its performance.
His remarks come amid increasing political activity in Telangana, with both the Congress and the BJP stepping up preparations ahead of future elections.
