BRS Leaders Meet Governor, Allege Attack on MLAs and Retaliatory Cases

<p>BRS leaders on Wednesday met the Governor and placed on record a series of grievances backed by documentary evidence, alleging that their legislators were targeted outside the Assembly complex.</p>
<p>The delegation told the Governor that BRS MLAs, including women legislators, were physically attacked, and that evidence of the assault had been handed over during the meeting.</p>
<p>The party further alleged that, after the incident, cases were registered against their own MLAs in what it described as retaliatory action by the ruling side.</p>
<p>In a separate submission, BRS leaders alleged that Congress MLAs and party leaders had publicly incited an attack on former Chief Minister and BRS chief K. Chandrashekar Rao, with statements that the delegation said amounted to wishing for his passing. Evidence supporting this claim was also submitted to the Governor, the party said.</p>
