Hotel Owner Who Fed Telangana Protesters Loses Life in Hanamkonda Fire

<p>A devastating fire broke out at Lingala Kedari Hotel near Adalat Junction in Hanamkonda, Telangana, completely destroying the property and claiming the life of its owner.</p>
<p>Hotel owner Lingala Kedari and his wife were rushed to MGM Hospital after the blaze. Kedari passed away while being taken to the hospital. His wife sustained severe burn injuries covering approximately 80 per cent of her body. Doctors have described her condition as critical.</p>
<p>A short circuit is suspected to have started the fire, though the exact cause is yet to be confirmed. Police reached the scene after being informed of the incident.</p>
<p>Beyond his business, Kedari was widely remembered for the role he played during the Telangana movement, when he provided free food and refreshments to students and activists. He later launched the 'Don't Waste Food' campaign to raise awareness about food wastage, an initiative that earned him recognition at the national level. Prime Minister Narendra Modi also interacted with Kedari during the Mann Ki Baat programme.</p>
