Hyderabad: A 36-year-old software engineer was found dead inside a house in Raghavendra Colony, Kondapur, with police investigating the circumstances surrounding the incident.
The deceased was identified as Sourabh Shekar, who lived with his brother in Rayadurgam. According to the information available, Shekar left home on Saturday after telling his family that he was going to meet a friend. He later informed them that he would be staying with friends.
Family Discovers Body
When Shekar did not return by Sunday morning, his family members tried contacting him by phone but received no response. Concerned about his whereabouts, they went to the address he had shared with them.
After finding the doors locked, the family members reportedly forced them open and discovered Shekar lying dead inside the house.
Police were alerted and arrived at the scene to investigate. A note was reportedly recovered near the body.
Note Mentions Long-Standing Health Complaint
According to the note, Shekar had been experiencing stomach pain after meals for approximately 10 years. The circumstances surrounding his death, including reports that helium gas was involved, are subject to police investigation.
