Hyderabad: A 20-year-old NEET aspirant, Abdul Riyan, died by suicide at his residence in Rein Bazaar on Wednesday, police said.
According to police, Riyan, the son of Abdul Ghafoor, had been preparing for the National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test (NEET) through long-term coaching but had not secured a medical seat. He was reportedly distressed over the outcome.
On Wednesday evening, he was found hanging from a bathroom ventilator at his residence.
After receiving information about the incident, personnel from Madannapet police station reached the scene and began an investigation.
