A Sub-Inspector from Narayana Gudda police station triggered a heated confrontation at Nampally Court on Wednesday after allegedly behaving in a rude and high-handed manner toward media representatives and lawyers present at the premises.

The incident unfolded as the SI was escorting MLCs to the court. During the process, the officer reportedly ordered media representatives to vacate the court premises, drawing sharp objections from journalists who were present in a professional capacity.

The SI's conduct then escalated into a verbal altercation with lawyers who were at the court at the time. The lawyers took strong exception to the officer's behaviour and refused to let the matter pass quietly.

In a show of solidarity with the media, lawyers at Nampally Court staged a protest against the SI's actions. The demonstration reflected the collective objection of the legal community to what they described as overreach and discourteous conduct by the police officer on court premises.

No official response from the Hyderabad Police regarding the incident has been issued so far.
