PM Modi Thanks Youth After Viral NEET Video Crosses Millions of Views

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday released a second video message expressing gratitude to young people for the overwhelming response to his earlier address on the NEET examination issue.

In the latest video, the Prime Minister thanked students and youth across the country for watching his previous message and sharing what he described as "constructive" and "insightful" suggestions. He said the enthusiastic response had further strengthened his connection with the younger generation.

According to the Prime Minister, the video released on Thursday night received extraordinary engagement across social media platforms.

The message reportedly crossed 300 million views and received more than 16 million likes on Instagram, making it one of the most widely viewed political videos shared by an Indian leader on the platform. Reports also said Modi's Instagram account gained nearly one million new followers after the video was posted.

In his earlier video, Prime Minister Modi addressed concerns surrounding the NEET paper leak controversy and assured students that the government would take stringent action against those responsible.

He announced that the Union Cabinet would consider stronger legal measures against examination fraud and paper leaks, while also promising reforms to improve transparency and restore confidence in the examination system.

Separately, during a recent Union Cabinet meeting, Prime Minister Modi reportedly encouraged ministers to strengthen their engagement with young people through social media.

According to sources, he asked Cabinet colleagues to become more active on Instagram, use Reels, and hold interactive sessions to better communicate government initiatives with India's youth, who form a significant share of the platform's users.

The latest video reflects the Prime Minister's increasing use of short-form digital content to communicate directly with citizens, particularly students and young voters. His office has increasingly relied on social media platforms to share policy announcements, respond to public concerns and encourage direct engagement on key national issues.
