Software Engineer Loses Life in Gachibowli Bike Crash, Two Friends Injured

A 25-year-old software engineer passed away and two of his friends sustained injuries after a bike crash in Hyderabad's Gachibowli area on Saturday, August 22.

The deceased has been identified as Abbas Siddique, a native of West Bengal. He was riding pillion along with Abhijit Singh, while their friend Sahasra Chattopadhyay was at the handlebars.

As the bike neared the Engineering Staff College of India in Khajaguda, the rider lost control and the vehicle crashed. Siddique suffered fatal injuries in the incident. Chattopadhyay and Singh are currently receiving medical care at a private hospital.

A case has been registered under Section 106(1), which pertains to death due to rash and negligent driving. The remains of Abbas Siddique were shifted to the mortuary at Osmania General Hospital.
