A speeding car went out of control and ploughed into eight two-wheelers parked along a road in Hyderabad's KPHB Housing Board area on Friday night, causing significant damage to the vehicles.
All eight two-wheelers were parked along the roadside when the car rammed into them. No major injuries were reported as a result of the incident.
Local reports indicate the driver appeared to be under the influence of alcohol at the time. A liquor bottle found inside the car was subsequently handed over to the police.
The KPHB police have taken up an investigation into the matter and are currently verifying whether the driver was indeed driving under the influence of alcohol. Further details are awaited as the investigation progresses.
