T-Hub and Honda Launch Innovation Challenge 2.0 for Indian Startups

T-Hub and Honda Digital Innovation India (HDII) have joined hands to launch Honda Innovation Challenge 2.0, a year-long co-innovation programme aimed at building digital mobility and customer experience solutions with Indian startups.

Building on the first edition of the challenge, the expanded programme introduces three new challenges and a total funding pool of up to Rs 4.8 crore. Each of the three challenges will select four startups, with each startup eligible to receive up to Rs 40 lakh to develop proof-of-concept (PoC) projects in collaboration with Honda teams.

Startups that successfully complete their PoCs can progress to pilot projects and potentially see their solutions integrated into Honda's products or services. Selected startups will work directly with Honda's engineering and business teams across a 12-week sprint to build real-world applications in mobility and customer experience.

Toshiyuki Yanagisawa, CEO of Honda Digital Innovation India, said HDII's mission is to explore and deliver new forms of value that can make people's lives better. Kavikrut, CEO of T-Hub, noted that the automotive sector has historically been an early adopter of technology, and the partnership with Honda creates an opportunity to build in India and take these solutions to the world.
