A TGSRTC bus had a narrow escape from a catastrophic accident after it veered off course and struck the boundary wall of an open agricultural well on the outskirts of Sundaragiri village in Chigurumamidi mandal on September 2, 2026.
The bus lost its path and crashed directly into the well wall, coming perilously close to the open well. The presence of the unenclosed agricultural well on the village outskirts added significantly to the danger of the situation. A major tragedy was narrowly averted.
Authorities are currently ascertaining details related to the passengers on board, any injuries sustained, and the exact cause of the accident. Further information is expected as the investigation progresses.
