What is ‘Baththa’ about?
The story centres on Baththa, a feared gangster whose life takes an unexpected turn when a young boy traps him inside a school restroom. The unusual situation sets the stage for a narrative that explores the boy's actions and the emotional changes experienced by the gangster.
Vijay Sethupathi plays the lead role, while child actor Sabari appears in a pivotal part. Lijomol Jose plays the protagonist's wife.
With its upcoming digital release, the film will become accessible to viewers who missed its theatrical run or wish to watch it at home.
Audiences can look forward to the film's Netflix premiere on October 29, subject to the platform's regional availability and listing details.
