Amberpet Residents Report Delay in Receiving SIR Survey Forms
Hyderabad: People living in Amberpet have raised concerns after many households reportedly did not receive the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) survey forms being distributed as part of the voter list verification process.
Residents said officials have visited some homes, but many eligible voters are still waiting for the forms. In several cases, only a few members of a family received the documents while others living at the same address were left out. This has created confusion among local residents.
The SIR exercise is being carried out by the Election Commission to verify voter information and prepare updated electoral rolls before future elections. Booth Level Officers (BLOs) have been assigned to visit homes, distribute the forms, and collect the completed documents.
Local residents have requested election authorities to complete the distribution quickly so that every eligible voter has an opportunity to verify their details without any difficulty.
Election officials have stated that the distribution work is still in progress and asked citizens to cooperate with Booth Level Officers during the ongoing verification drive. Officials also assured that efforts are being made to reach every eligible voter.
