Anganwadi Teacher Found Deceased in Korutla, Husband Held Suspect

<p>An Anganwadi teacher passed away under suspicious circumstances in Korutla town of Jagtial district on Wednesday morning, with her husband emerging as the prime suspect in the case.</p>
<p>The deceased has been identified as Lakshmi, a resident of Prakasam Road in Korutla. According to police and preliminary reports, Lakshmi and her husband Naresh, who have two children together, had been involved in frequent arguments over suspicion. For the past few days, Lakshmi had been staying separately with her two children. About a week before the incident, Naresh asked her to return home and she agreed.</p>
<p>However, Lakshmi was found to have passed away on Wednesday morning. Preliminary reports suggest that Naresh allegedly attacked her with a towel, and she may have passed away due to suffocation.</p>
<p>Police reached the spot promptly, shifted the remains to a government hospital for post-mortem examination, and registered a case. An investigation is currently underway.</p>
