Bridge Washed Away in Vizianagaram, 75 Villages Cut Off from Essential Services

<p>Heavy rains over the past two days have caused serious disruption across parts of Vizianagaram district, with a temporary bridge near Chinna Gangavaram in GK Veedhi mandal being washed away due to the heavy flow of water.</p>
<p>The bridge, located near Dharakonda Panchayat in Chinna Gangavaram, gave way following continuous rainfall, cutting off road connectivity to around 75 villages in the agency area. The loss of this key crossing has left tribal communities in these villages without reliable access to essential commodities, healthcare facilities and other basic services.</p>
<p>Transportation has also come to a standstill, severely affecting the movement of people between the villages and nearby areas. Residents say even routine travel has become extremely difficult since the bridge went down.</p>
<p>Tribal residents of the affected villages have appealed to authorities to take immediate steps to restore connectivity and reconstruct the bridge as soon as possible.</p>
