Gachibowli Hostel Worker Fatally Attacked by Colleague Over Personal Grudge

<p>A 44-year-old man lost their life after being wounded by a colleague at a men's hostel in Anjaiah Nagar, Gachibowli, late Thursday night, September 10, in what the Raidurgam police are treating as a case of murder.</p>
<p>The victim, identified as Shashidhar, worked as a cleaner at Harihar Men's Hostel. According to the Raidurgam police, a cook at the same hostel named Pramod attacked Shashidhar multiple times with a kitchen knife when the two were returning after purchasing groceries together.</p>
<p>CCTV footage that subsequently circulated on social media appeared to show the attack taking place, adding to the evidence gathered by investigators.</p>
<p>Raidurgam police stated that both Pramod and Shashidhar were natives of Odisha who had been employed at the hostel for three years. Pramod is reported to have held a grudge against Shashidhar over an unspecified personal dispute.</p>
<p>After the attack, Pramod fled the scene. Shashidhar's remains were shifted to Osmania General Hospital for postmortem. The Raidurgam police have registered a case of murder under Section 103 of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS).</p>
<p>The exact motive remains unclear. An investigation is currently underway.</p>
