Hyderabad: KTR Invited as Guest of Honour at TALHealthFest 2026 in US

Hyderabad: BRS working president KT Rama Rao has been invited as the distinguished guest of honour at TALHealthFest 2026, an international healthcare summit scheduled to be held at the University of California, San Diego, in the US on October 30.

The invitation was extended by Sai Gundavelli, CEO of the Touch-A-Life Foundation, which is organising the event.

The summit will bring together healthcare professionals, researchers, technology innovators, hospitals, pharmaceutical companies, policymakers and patient advocacy groups to discuss emerging trends and challenges in healthcare.

The central theme of the summit is “Reimagining Healthcare through Innovation, Technology, Collaboration and Global Access”. Discussions are expected to focus on artificial intelligence, personalised medicine, digital healthcare, preventive care, medical tourism and expanding access to healthcare globally.

The event is intended to provide an international platform for stakeholders to exchange ideas on healthcare delivery, technological innovation and emerging healthcare models.

In the invitation, Gundavelli highlighted Rama Rao’s work in technology, innovation, entrepreneurship and global engagement in Telangana, and said his participation would bring a perspective from India to the international forum.

The organisers also expressed hope that the summit would facilitate greater dialogue and collaboration between India and the US in healthcare, technology, innovation and access to global health services.

A previous TALHospitals HealthFest at UC San Diego also featured Rama Rao as a guest of honour and keynote speaker, with discussions centred on AI, digital healthcare, personalised medicine and equitable access.
