Hyderabad: The Banjara Hills police have arrested a man identified as Shashikanth, a resident of Indira Nagar, on allegations of behaving inappropriately towards the minor daughter of a woman with whom he was reportedly in a relationship.
According to police, Shashikanth had entered into an extramarital relationship with the woman and was living with her. The woman reportedly grew uncomfortable with his conduct towards her daughter and began distancing herself from him.
The situation took a further turn when the woman and her daughter travelled to Srisailam. During their absence, Shashikanth allegedly locked the woman's house using a different lock, preventing her from re-entering her own home.
Upset by this act and his earlier alleged conduct towards her daughter, the woman approached Banjara Hills police and lodged a formal complaint. Officers took Shashikanth into custody and are currently investigating the full circumstances surrounding the incident.
