Kanyakumari: A YouTuber from Kanyakumari reportedly became the target of a burglary after allegedly showcasing cash and jewellery in a vlog.
According to reports, unidentified thieves broke into the YouTuber’s residence and allegedly stole jewellery and other valuables estimated to be worth around ₹1 crore.
The burglary reportedly occurred after the valuables had been displayed in an online video, raising concerns over the risks of publicly sharing details of expensive possessions and personal security arrangements.
Police are expected to examine the YouTube video and other digital evidence as part of the investigation. CCTV footage from the area and other available evidence may also help investigators identify those involved.
The exact circumstances of the burglary, including the number of people involved and the total value of the stolen property, are yet to be established by investigators.
Police are continuing their probe into the alleged theft.
