Kesamudram Tops Telangana Rain Charts With 191.3 mm Overnight

<p>Several districts across Telangana experienced heavy to very heavy overnight rainfall, with Kesamudram in Mahabubabad recording the highest figure at 191.3 mm in the last 24 hours, according to data released by the Telangana State Development Planning Society (TSDPS) on Sunday.</p>
<p>Districts including Mancherial, Yadadri Bhuvanagiri, Warangal, Jangaon and Nalgonda also recorded significant rainfall. Some mandals in these districts crossed the 120 mm mark, placing them in the official 'Very Heavy Rainfall' category.</p>
<p>Among the top five locations across districts in the last 24 hours, Kesamudram in Mahabubabad led with 191.3 mm, followed by Kannepalli in Mancherial at 153.8 mm, Nellikudur in Mahabubabad at 152.3 mm, Dattappaguda in Yadadri Bhuvanagiri at 144.8 mm, and Kommulavancha in Mahabubabad at 140.0 mm.</p>
<p>In Hyderabad and its surrounding areas, rainfall was comparatively lighter. Bachupally recorded 50.5 mm, Ramachandrapuram received 47.5 mm, Kistareddipet in Ameenpur logged 44.4 mm, and the Patancheruvu Tahsil Office area received 44 mm. The MMTS Lingampally station in Serilingampally recorded 40.8 mm.</p>
<p>Overall, rainfall across Hyderabad and Medchal-Malkajgiri ranged between 20 mm and 35 mm, according to TSDPS data.</p>
