Lucknow: Several people were injured after a fire broke out at a coaching centre in the Aliganj area of Lucknow on Sunday, triggering panic among students and staff.
According to officials, thick smoke quickly spread through the building after the fire started, prompting an immediate evacuation. Emergency teams and firefighters rushed to the spot and launched rescue operations to ensure the safe evacuation of those trapped inside.
Authorities said around 10 fire tenders were deployed to control the blaze. After several hours of firefighting efforts, the fire was brought under control.
The injured were shifted to nearby hospitals for treatment. Officials have not yet confirmed the exact number of people affected.
