<p>A family from East Thanda village in Danthalapalle mandal, Mahabubabad district, staged an unusual protest outside a local police station on Tuesday, carrying pesticide bottles to draw attention to their grievances against a serving police officer.</p>
<p>Guguloth Roop Singh and his family members alleged that Dantalapalli Sub-Inspector Ravi Kumar had been harassing them over a land dispute and had failed to properly verify documents related to the matter. They further alleged that the SI used abusive language and behaved inappropriately with the family.</p>
<p>Holding pesticide bottles as a mark of their distress, the family expressed deep anguish over what they described as a threat to their lives stemming from the SI's alleged conduct.</p>
<p>Roop Singh formally demanded a detailed inquiry into the SI's alleged behaviour and called for appropriate action to be taken based on the findings of such an inquiry.</p>
