Hyderabad: 19-Year-Old Man Found Dead at Residence in Sreeram Nagar
Hyderabad: A 19-year-old man was found dead at his residence in Ganga Nagar, Sreeram Nagar, on Tuesday night, according to police.
The deceased was identified as Nallamilli Dhanush, who was staying with his father, Nallamilli Kruparaju. Police said Dhanush was reportedly suffering from a congenital nervous disorder.
According to the police account, Kruparaju was sleeping outside the house while Dhanush was resting on another bed and using his mobile phone.
At around 10:30 p.m., the father reportedly asked his son to lock the door before going to sleep. About an hour later, Kruparaju woke up and noticed that the gate was unlocked and his son was no longer on the bed.
He searched the house and found Dhanush hanging from an iron rod of a tin shed. With the assistance of apartment residents, the family contacted emergency services.
Personnel from the 108 ambulance service reached the location and examined Dhanush, after which he was declared dead.
Police have registered a case and are investigating the circumstances surrounding the death.
