Hyderabad: Gachibowli police raided an alleged gambling den operating at The Sky by Vihara Farm in Vattinagulapally and caught 27 people during the operation. Officials seized approximately Rs 10 lakh in cash from the premises.
According to police, three individuals allegedly organised the gambling activity. They were identified as Chinna Yadav, a resident of BN Reddy Nagar, Sonu from Suncity and Naveen.
Three-Card Gambling Operation Under Investigation
Preliminary police enquiries indicate that the group had allegedly been organising a three-card gambling game at the venue for around four months.
Investigators estimate that daily transactions at the premises could have reached approximately Rs 20 lakh. The alleged organisers reportedly collected commissions from participants.
Rs 10 Lakh Seized During Raid
Police seized around Rs 10 lakh in cash from those present during the raid. A total of 27 people were caught in connection with the alleged gambling activity.
Further investigation is underway to establish the roles of the organisers and participants and determine the full extent of the operation.
