Hyderabad: A 31-year-old man, his wife and their two-year-old daughter were found dead in a locality under the limits of KPHB police station in Hyderabad, police said on Tuesday, October 27.
According to preliminary information shared by police, the man allegedly killed his young daughter before he and his wife died by suicide by hanging. The family was originally from West Bengal, and the man reportedly worked as a chef.
Police said a purported suicide note believed to have been written by the couple was recovered from the scene. The contents and circumstances surrounding the note are being examined as part of the investigation.
Financial Difficulties Reported
Local media reports identified the couple as Gopinath and Samata and suggested that they had been experiencing financial difficulties. However, the exact circumstances leading to the deaths have not been established by investigators.
A note reportedly written on a wall has also circulated on social media. Its authenticity and significance have not been independently confirmed in the information available.
