Telangana Extends Support for Adilabad Airport Project

Hyderabad: Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy has expressed the state government's willingness to fully support the development of the proposed airport in Adilabad.

During discussions with Union Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, the Chief Minister said Telangana would work closely with central authorities to help move the project forward. He assured that the state would provide the necessary assistance required for the airport's development.

Revanth Reddy said the proposed airport could become a major asset for northern Telangana by improving transportation links and attracting new investment to the region. He also suggested expanding the project beyond passenger services to include cargo handling, aircraft maintenance facilities and other aviation-related infrastructure.

According to the Chief Minister, better air connectivity would help strengthen economic activity and create new opportunities for businesses and residents in Adilabad and nearby districts.

The state government believes the project can play a key role in the long-term development of the region and has reiterated its commitment to supporting its implementation.
