Hyderabad: Commuters travelling through Gachibowli will face temporary traffic changes as the Cyberabad Traffic Police have announced diversions at IIIT Junction for the next 90 days.
The new traffic arrangements have been introduced to support the construction of a flyover and other road improvement works in the area. The project is aimed at reducing congestion and improving traffic movement once completed.
According to the traffic advisory, vehicles travelling between Gachibowli, Lingampally, Financial District, Gowlidoddi, Q-City and nearby areas will be diverted through alternative routes during the construction period.
Traffic police have requested motorists to follow the diversion signs, cooperate with officers on duty and plan their travel in advance, especially during office hours, to avoid delays.
Officials said the diversions are temporary and will remain in place until the construction work is completed. Commuters are advised to allow extra travel time while passing through the Gachibowli IT corridor.
