Telangana Government, SBI Resolve Raidurg Land Dispute Through Mutual Agreement

Hyderabad: The Telangana government and the State Bank of India (SBI) have settled the long-running dispute over a valuable land parcel in Raidurg through mutual discussions.

The agreement was reached after senior officials from both sides held talks to find a practical solution. As part of the settlement, SBI agreed to accept alternative land offered by the state instead of the disputed property.

According to officials, the bank will receive land parcels in Future City at Osman Nagar and another site in Raidurg. The arrangement is expected to bring an end to the disagreement that had reached the Telangana High Court.

The dispute began after SBI raised objections to the state's auction of the Raidurg land, claiming ownership over a portion of the property. The matter later became the subject of legal proceedings.

With both sides now agreeing to the new arrangement, officials believe the issue has been resolved without the need for prolonged litigation. The settlement is expected to help the government move forward with its development plans while protecting the interests of all parties involved.
